These terms apply when you use Star Haven (starhaven.dev and its subdomains) and Diorama64's online features. You agree to them by creating an account, or by signing in with any AT Protocol account. The privacy policy explains how Star Haven handles your information.
Who can use Star Haven
You must be at least 13 years old.
Your content
You keep the rights to what you create. You let Star Haven store, copy, and share it as needed to run the service, including publishing your public records to the AT Protocol network. You're responsible for having the right to share what you upload.
Your profile, mod listings, and mod downloads are public, and other services copy them. Mods you save online from Diorama64 are private to you and the collaborators you invite.
What you can't do
Don't use Star Haven to share or store:
- Anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material and terrorist content
- Sexual or pornographic content, or content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Harassment, threats, or hate, or anyone's private information without their permission
- ROMs or other files you don't have the right to share. Share mods as patches that people apply to their own copy of the game.
- Malware
- Files unrelated to mods
Don't get around storage limits, blocks, or access controls, or try to disrupt the service.
Reporting content
To report content that's illegal or breaks these terms, email [email protected] with a link to it and what's wrong. Star Haven removes child sexual abuse material and reports it to the UK National Crime Agency.
If you think something on Star Haven infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with what the work is, where the content is, and how to reach you.
How these terms are enforced
If an account or its content breaks these terms or the law, Star Haven can remove the content, or limit, block, or delete the account. Star Haven will tell you what it did and why, unless that's unlawful or would put someone at risk. To appeal, reply to that email or write to [email protected].
Changes
Star Haven is a free hobby project, and it can change or stop at any time. If these terms change, account holders get an email at least 30 days before the new terms take effect.
No warranty
Star Haven is provided as it is, with no warranty, so keep your own copies of anything you care about. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
